Renderownia Świerk Service is part of the Świerk Computing Centre (CIŚ).

The Centre is a response to the rapidly growing demand for IT solutions needed by the power industry sector, both conventional and nuclear. The sector needs modern, intelligent and effective IT solutions that enable fast and secure processing of large amounts of data.

The Świerk Computing Centre is situated at the premises of National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Świerk near Warsaw. That localization is a big asset of our project. Firstly, the Centre is a highly secure place for our infrastructure, and secondly such localization facilitates everyday contact with teams of scientists of the highest world class and gives an opportunity to use rich NCBJ lab & workshop infrastructure, including the sole in Poland research nuclear reactor.

Computing Centre Świerk operates a HPC (High Performance Computing) Cluster consisting of more than 1,400 servers equipped with more than 31,500 physical cores (CPU) and 183 TB of memory (RAM) in total. The theoretical performance of this configuration is approx. 1,050 TFLOPS.Computer Centre Świerk uses disk resources with a total area of over 18,000 TB (18 PB).

Renderownia Świerk Users, at the time the service was started, were provided with 1800 CPU and approx. 4 TB disk space. These values are dynamically adapted to the changing demands of our Clients.
